Payment
Payment can be made using cash and the following cards are accepted: VISA, MasterCard or Maestro. Unfortunately, we do not accept American Express. Payment is not taken at the time of booking regardless whether you made your booking through our direct channel or online booking agent. Therefore, payment will need to be made at time of departure. However, if an online booked agent like Expedia, Hotels.com or Booking.com have been used and you have pre-paid, only additional extras such as breakfast or dinner will be payable on departure.
Access
Our main front door remains closed in the day when the restaurant is not open. For access onto Willow Street, please use our side passageway, entrance to street is through the door at the end of passageway. You will see that there is a key pad (on street side) next to the passageway’s door. With your room key there is a fob attached, when wanting to return back through passageway please wave this disc in front of keypad whereby you will hear a buzz, you can then push door for entry. If you have any problems please press reception intercom button and someone will let you in.
Safety
On arrival please familiarise yourself with the fire notice by the entrance to your room. You will also see on the notice what to do in case of night time emergencies. Please also note the diagram showing exits and assembly point in case of fire.
Attractions

Oswestry market is also a short walk away, open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday offering a range of bespoke services and goods. Also playing host to a range of speciality events throughout the year.
The British Ironworks Centre is situated in the town offering the largest display of decorative metalwork in the UK. Famous for its world-renowned "Spoon Gorilla", made from over 40,000 donated spoons (as seen on the BBC). This is a must visit.
Many National Trust properties are nearby. Explore the Erddig estate in Wrexham, the medieval fortress of Chirk Castle or the magnificent Powis Castle and gardens in Welshpool.
Pontcysyllte Aqueduct – UNESCO World Heritage Site – Pontcysyllte is the longest, oldest and highest navigable aqueduct in Great Britain. It carries the Llangollen canal across the River Dee, giving spectacular views of North Wales.
Old Oswestry Hill Fort was built during the Iron Age and remains one of Britain’s best-preserved hill forts. A short walk up will reward you with panoramic views over Oswestry and the surrounding area.
Park Hall Country Experience – Both indoor and outdoor activities to get the whole family involved, including soft play areas, World War trenches, electric cars and farm animals.
Ironbridge Gorge Museums - A World Heritage Site and the beating heart of the Industrial Revolution, Ironbridge is home to 10 amazing museums that make an unforgettable experience.
Lake Vyrnwy – Set on the edge of the Snowdonia National park. Enjoy the spectacular waterfalls and unspoilt scenery whilst partaking in activities including boating, cycling and horse riding.
